I am a Practitioner in the Private Client Department and have been working for Barwells since 2006 where I started as a Trainee Legal Assistant. After successfully completing my CILEX exams in 2019, I am a CILEX Graduate Member and am working towards becoming a Fellow.
I am based at our Seaford office and deal with all Private Client matters to include; Wills, Administration of Estates, Care Home and Asset Protection planning and creation of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
My recent cases have included; providing advice to people preparing Wills to protect vulnerable beneficiaries or to safeguard assets on a second marriage, dealing with the administration of Estates either in accordance with the terms of a person’s Will or based on the Intestacy rules, many times involving Inheritance Tax considerations. I have been commended by clients for my professional advice, friendly and sympathetic approach when dealing with bereaved or vulnerable clients.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and two fur babies!
