Lauren Chambers

I am the Head of Litigation and have been with Barwells for 11 years. I qualified as a solicitor in 2003 in Cornwall. I am also the Practice Director and work mainly at our Seaford office.

I advise on a wide range of litigation matters including commercial and property litigation, contested probates, landlord and tenant matters and settlement agreements.

Working alongside Holley we have recently advised on a large estate which had 86 properties with tenants; and assisted a local company with almost 100 settlement agreements; both with short court deadlines.  We enjoy a challenge!

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients to help navigate them through complex and sometimes emotional disputes. It is important to me that the client feels that they have been listened to and I am always happy to adapt my approach to suit each clients needs.

My most recent cases have included advising on  landlord and tenant law in a multi million pound development, advising on a clients rights in relation to her parent’s property following their death and negotiating the sale and distribution of the proceeds in order to avoid imminent proceedings.

Outside of work I love to spend time in the South of France with my husband and tiny dog Ruby.
