Employment Solicitor
Seaford Office with some Hybrid Working
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a 3-5 year PQE Employment Solicitor experienced, proactive and highly organised Office & Facilities Manager based in either our Seaford or Newhaven offices, with some homeworking available.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Department, your role as an Employment Solicitor will involve:
- Handing your own caseload of contentious and non- contentious matters
- Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception through to conclusion
- Technical excellence, handling both claimant and respondent employment matters
- Being able to business develop and network, to gain new clients
- Supporting our BarwellsHR consultancy team and their external clients
- Working closely with experienced litigators, you will gain exposure to a broad range of employment matters while developing your career within a collaborative and supportive team.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years PQE, previous employment law experience, ideally across both contentious and non-contentious matters and strong technical and drafting skills.
Excellent communication and client care abilities and commercial awareness with a practical approach to problem solving are essential. Importantly you should have the ability to manage matters independently while working effectively as part of a team.
