Accounts Assistant

Part time, ideally five mornings per week
What you will be doing:
Providing support to the Financial Controller and Senior Financial Assistant including:
- Processing client and office accounting transactions including payments and receipts, bills, credit card payments and BACS and CHAPS payments.
- Processing Purchase Ledger.
- Assisting with petty cash, day to day banking, miscellaneous nominal postings and bank reconciliations.
- Processing of accounts transactions as instructed by the Financial Controller.
- Liaising with the firms bank as and when required.
- Ensuring that the confidentiality and security of the firm’s and client documentation is always maintained.
Who we are looking for:
If you are an experienced accounts assistant, have the following skills and are looking for a new challenge we would like to hear from you.
- Experience of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word to intermediate level.
- Accurate numerical and data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure with a drive to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers, clients and team members.
