Receptionist

We are seeking an energetic and organised Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organisation. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily activities. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a professional and friendly environment for visitors, clients, and team members alike. You will be based in our Hailsham office but you will be required to provide reception cover for our offices in Eastbourne (1 day per week) and Seaford (1 day per week) and therefore you must be a car driver.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Answer, screen, and direct all incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, and packages
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, and case management systems.
  • Maintain organised records of visitor logs, phone messages, and administrative documents
  • Support clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and inventory management

Qualifications

  • Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and professionalism
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and basic data entry
  • Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multiple calls efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute for efficient data entry
  • Administrative experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
