Holley Henden

I qualified as a solicitor in September 2024 after graduating from the University of Essex with an LLB Law degree in 2020. I joined Barwells in 2021 and completed my Solicitors Qualifying Exams while training with the firm.

I work within the Litigation Department, where I advise individuals and businesses on a broad range of civil disputes, including contested wills and estates, debt recovery, contractual disputes, landlord and tenant matters, and property disputes.

I have a particular interest in contested probate matters. I recognise that disputes involving estates and inheritances often arise at difficult times for families, and I am committed to helping clients navigate these situations with clear, practical advice and strong representation. I take pride in supporting clients through what can often be a stressful and emotional process, ensuring they feel heard and understood while working towards the best possible outcome.

I take a practical and solution focused approach to dispute resolution, seeking sensible and cost-effective solutions wherever possible. However, where a negotiated resolution cannot be achieved, I am equally prepared to take a firm stance to robustly protect my clients’ interests. I aim to guide clients through every stage of their matter, providing straightforward advice and helping them make informed decisions.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my dog and two cats. I also enjoy going for walks, discovering new food spots, and attending live music events.
