Barwells have been providing legal services to the people of Sussex for well over 100 years.

The firm was founded in 1896 and Wilfrid Thomas De Bardewell Barwell first started practising law in Broad Street, Seaford in the early 1900’s.

Over the years, the Firm has expanded and now has offices in Hailsham, Eastbourne, Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven.

Barwells maintains its strong links with the community. We are still solving the legal problems of local people with the old fashion traditions begun by Mr Barwell all those years ago, but using the most modern technology to provide a smooth and efficient service.
