Job Description
Our friendly Barwells Eastbourne office is looking for someone to provide lunchtime reception cover on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The primary function of the role; to provide excellent customer service to clients as they enter the office, or via telephone. The Receptionist is the face of the business and should act as an ambassador for the Firm. The role includes managing office diaries to avoid conflict, maintaining stationery and office supplies and many other elements make up this varied role.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will support our teams, for example by:
- Providing excellent Customer Service to all telephone callers and visitors to the offices.
- Processing all incoming telephone calls including the logging of calls and conveying of messages.
- Providing telephone support to Partners and staff members.
- Organising Deeds and Wills retained in the strong room and accurately recording them on the Firm’s CMS.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Undertaking clerical and administrative duties.
- Securing the confidentiality and security of the Firm’s client documentation and information.
- Organising and ordering of office stationery.
- Maintaining an organised and welcoming reception area.
